In a world in constant flux, staying grounded requires attention and presence. How do you stay grounded in the rhythms of your life? This open wave invites you to return to your feet – the roots of your body. It is an invitation to breathe, feel, move and be in the moment as you connect with the natural rhythms of your body.

We begin with Flowing, followed by Staccato, Chaos, then Lyrical (lighter) and end in stillness. This journey through the 5 rhythms will help you explore your own movement and embodiment and experience how rhythm lives not only in music and dance, but also in how we breathe, feel and connect.

For whom? This workshop is for anyone looking to connect more with themselves and the rhythms of life. Whether you are an experienced dancer or just curious about movement, the 5Rhythms offer a safe space to explore and grow.

The session will be led by Katrien Mazijn, certified 5Rhythms® teacher, pianist and music history teacher, with over 25 years of experience in bodywork (shiatsu, reiki, yoga, meditation) and movement. Together with her daughters Clara and Anne Cornil, also 5Rhythms® teachers and musicians, she invites you to experience dance as a means of connection. The sisters grew up in a family where dance always played an important role and now they want to share this with you.

We end with a quiet closing in which Clara will sing for you, not as a performance, but to create a calm atmosphere and give you time to complete the experience and unwind.

Regular classes in Bruges and Ghent:

• Bruges: Every Friday evening from 19:30 to 22:30
• Ghent: Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30 and Thursday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30
