Accessibility

Dance is for every body, and Danspunt is committed to making all its events accessible.

Free festival

DANSSTORM is completely free! Both established and emerging dance makers present their work in public spaces — a conscious choice to engage a wide audience with dance.

Wheelchair accessible

Most of the Dansstorm locations are wheelchair accessible. Email us for more information about activities that don’t have a wheelchair icon (dansstorm@danspunt.be). We are happy to address any concerns you may have. During the festival, our staff will be happy to assist you. You can recognize them by their pink, blue, or green ‘Ambassador of Dance’ t-shirts.

A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available in Koningin Astridpark, behind Villa Bota (you can find the building of Villa Bota next to our information point in Koningin Astridpark).

Earplugs

Available at the information point in Koningin Astridpark.

Safe(r) space

Danspunt aims to create a safe, inclusive environment where everyone can dance, work, and enjoy the festival without worry. If you ever feel unsafe, approached in an unwanted way, or experience transgressive behavior, our trust persons Anja and Koen are here for you. They’ll listen, support, and help you take the right steps. You can ask for them at the info point or through one of our volunteers.

We’re always looking to improve, so feel free to share your feedback, suggestions, or questions at dansstorm@danspunt.be.
