How do two people adapt when their fixed patterns are suddenly broken? Are they fighting or falling in love? Are they looking for approval, or just for themselves? In the playful, accessible performance YOU ARE NOT ALONE UNLESS YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES, two dancers explore the complexity of human emotions. The duet starts with strict, repetitive movements, but develops into a dynamic game in which the boundaries between black and white blur.

WHAT (Who the Hell Are They) Collective is an artistic duo founded by Francesca De Girolamo and Lola Serrano. They combine contemporary dance and physical theatre, and translate everyday situations to the stage with a touch of humor. Francesca and Lola met during their training at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) in Austria. Their first work, ADATTARSI, won first prize at the national French dance competition Danse avec ton Crous in 2022. In 2025, with the support of Danspunt, they are developing this new creation.
