Andreas Crommelinck
We live in a time where we are inundated with information. We know a lot, but everything comes in pieces – fragmented, disconnected. What does that do to us? In vErSnIpPeRd, Andreas Crommelinck makes this feeling tangible. Buried under a mountain of paper scraps, he examines his relationship with that fragmentation. In a duet of attracting, repelling, playing and getting lost, he searches for grip in the chaos of information, memories, thoughts and triggers.
This performance was created in residence at Zinnema and took shape within Dansvitrine, the platform for emerging dance talent of Danspunt, where Crommelinck received guidance from Zoë Demoustier.
Andreas Crommelinck (2006, Mechelen) is a performer and maker. He studies Performance at the Maastricht Theater Academy and previously studied at the Kunsthumaniora Brussels. He played in Ultra (fABULEUS, 2023) and Versterker (Jinte de Greef, Zinnema, 2024). Intrigued by art, fashion and human nature, he is always looking for new forms of expression.
