SHIFT – all forms are changing is a dance performance with live music about the inevitability of change, both physically and mentally. How do we deal with what is constantly changing? Can farewell also bring renewal? How can we make room for feelings such as sadness, fear and anger, but also create space for curiosity and playfulness. 

In a play of shapes and sounds, choreographer and dancer Svitlana Kolesova and musicians Jozef Sercu and Pieter Elias investigate how transformation challenges and connects us. With music from Sercu’s album Consolation, newly composed pieces and improvisation, SHIFT invites us not to fear change, but to embrace it. 

Svitlana Kolesova (Master Choreography, Kiev) was a leading dancer at Totem Dance Group and has worked as a dance teacher at the Brugge and Pliejee Conservatory (KTA) since 2017. Jozef Sercu (Master Music Therapy, LUCA) is a music teacher and composer and worked on musical theater productions for children (BomBarDon). Pieter Elias (Master Music Therapy, LUCA) is a music therapist and active in music and street theater productions.
