Lindy Hop Mechelen

Lindy Hop Mechelen is an informal group of enthusiastic dancers who meet regularly to swing to music from the first half of the 20th century. They dance mostly Lindy Hop, but also Blues, Shag, Balboa, Charleston, Authentic Jazz and Boogie Woogie.

Lindy Hop is a social couple dance that originated within the African-American community and is characterized by elements such as rhythm, improvisation, self-expression and a sense of community. During Dance Storm, we invite everyone to get a taste of swing dancing. Watching is allowed, participating for sure!
