With movement, songs and chalk drawings, Mette Nilsen and Amber Posteels take you into the curious, raw and honest playfulness of children. Although they differ in character and style as dancers and as people, the two find a deep creative connection with each other in the warm fantasy world of this duet. And they also let you (re)discover your own inner child through childhood memories, games, children’s books and stories. Dive into a world full of imagination and, above all, lots of chalk!

Mette Nilsen (NO) and Amber Bosteels (BE) met as housemates while studying at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. After completing her master’s degree at EDGE Dance Company in London, Mette built a career as a freelance dancer, actress and teacher in the UK. Amber works as a dancer and teacher in Belgium and India. Their friendship now led to their first duet. With live music by Arnaud Soetens, a Belgian musician who combines electronics, ambient and avant-garde.
