Initiation united on the dancefloor (zumba & latin)

We all move differently to the same beats – but dance connects us all. This is how Hayjni and Kitty met, two foreign dancers in their new hometown of Bruges. In this project we mix the high-energy party vibe of Zumba and the smooth, spirited movements of Salsa and Bachata. You can dance with us and try out the two different styles connected by Latin music. We start with simple zumba moves with Hayjni, then come together in a playful clash of styles and end with Kitty’s elegant ladystyling.

We unite these two different styles because dance is not about rules or perfection, but about expression and supporting each other. It’s about finding your own rhythm, your own style, freeing yourself and enjoying life with your dance soul-tribe. It’s our reminder that dance is for everyone and that this world is getting better together.

About the two dancers:

Hayjni is a zumba instructor and fitness coach, passionate about dance, Latin music and making people feel good. She is an ambassador of joy and self-love. She teaches simple choreography in her classes, even beginners can enjoy the zumba vibes with her.

Kitty has danced all her life and studied different styles, such as Latin dance, ballet and contemporary dance. In her classes you can learn Latin lady styling and couple dance, salsa, bachata. She has expertise in burlesque and choreographs and passionately teaches wedding dance.
