HACKED

Danielle Huyghe

In a future where individual expression has become extinct, the radical program HACKED tries to free humanity from the technological trap. Through simulations and experiments, humans learn to be themselves again, with all the beauty and ugliness of our past.

This hybrid performance combines dance, film and AI and takes a critical look at our relationship with technology. What happens when AI determines how we move? And how can we regain our artistic freedom? HACKED is a wake-up call: in our drive for efficiency, we run the risk of losing ourselves.

Danielle Huyghe is a Belgian choreographer based in Rotterdam and Antwerp. She completed her preparatory training in contemporary dance at the! Kunsthumaniora (Antwerp) and obtained her Bachelor of Dance at ArtEZ University of the Arts (Arnhem). She is currently completing her Master of Theater at the Maastricht Theater Academy. Since graduating, Danielle has worked with renowned choreographers such as Liesbet Hermans, Constantin Trommlitz and WYF MIME company. She creates her own work for which she has already won several awards. In addition to her work as a dancer and maker, Danielle is also active as a guest lecturer and coach in various dance and performance courses.
