Lara Groeneweg and Roelie de Jaeger
Crack(er)s or a performance about meals and mistakes explores the beauty of folds, tears and lines in the body. Two performers unravel how popular culture and media shape the female body and influence ideal images. They slowly free themselves from a still life, in a multidisciplinary performance with dance, image, text and music.
Lara Groeneweg is a dancer, writer and visual artist. She specializes in dance theater and contemporary dance and combines her artistic practice with social work and her studies in dance therapy.
Roelie de Jaeger is a performer, visual artist and teacher of dance and theater. In her work she addresses social themes and gives voice to minorities.
As part of ‘Atelier in beeld‘. Come for the performance, and be sure to visit the artists as well.
