Álvaro Murillo
A chronicle of events, a real event that occurred on the night of July 22, 1928, served as inspiration for Lorca for his work “Blood Wedding.” A forbidden love in a society that keeps appearances. An instinctive force that tends towards irrational union, opposing, without seeking it, social convention. On her wedding day a bride escapes with her lover. The groom follows them and the outcome takes place. Paco Montes and Paquita Cañada traveled 8 kilometers without being able to reach dawn.
