From Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18, 2025, Bruges will be all about dance! During DANSSTORM, dance lovers and casual passers-by can watch dance or dance themselves for a whole weekend. Performances, dance films, dance initiations, workshops … for all ages and all bodies. From performances in an open-air theater in the Astrid park to pop-up performances in surprising places to a dance floor on the Burg square.

So we storm Bruges with dance and want every dancing and non-dancing Bruges resident to know about it. Would you like to help us think about how to make Dansstorm and dance more alive in Bruges? Tell stories before and during the festival in the form of interviews, podcasts, photography, video…?

We are looking for 4 young (16 – 30 years old) content creators from Bruges who want to be part of our communication team.

What do we expect from you?

• Active participation in 2 brainstorming sessions (in November/first half of December and second half of February)
• Participation in one of our workshops in March. We are thinking e.g. about a dance photography workshop, but let it mainly depend on your needs and input.
• The desire to bring stories about dance in Bruges and/or Dansstorm leading up to the festival and/or during the festival.

 

What’s in it for you?

• We help you grow as a content creator and more specifically in the niche of dance content.
• You expand your portfolio as content creator with real examples.
• You get the opportunity to expand your network in Bruges.
• Possibility to participate in a workshop to improve your skills (e.g. a dance photography workshop).
• For your participation to the brainstorming sessions you will receive a compensation of 40 euros (not related to the creative work you will or will not do for Dansstorm).
