Introduction to Irish dance

Irish dance is known for shows like Lord of the Dance and Riverdance. It is a traditional dance from Ireland, where there is a distinction between ‘hard shoe’ and ‘soft shoe’. The combination of powerful footwork and graceful jumps is an energetic alternation that makes you want more. During the lessons, you learn the basic techniques and you can develop into a powerful and elegant dancer at a high level. Both traditional and show dances are practised. Both hard and soft shoe are covered in this workshop.
