Conservatorium Kortrijk

Twelve to fifteen-year-old pupils (Belgian third grade) at the Conservatoire can opt for a training in contemporary dance, where they work on strength, stamina and flexibility. Floor falls, floor work, improvisation and partner work, etc., are also addressed. Gradually, students begin to find their own expressiveness and become aware of dancing instinctively. Fifteen to eighteen-year-old students (Belgian fourth grade) even learn to make their own choreographies, which is just what the students performing for this demonstration on the streets of Kortrijk did.
